From skeptic to believer
Charming traditional inn with attentive staff and clean, cozy rooms! Meals offered great value and were delicious.
Noisy pub atmosphere disturbed sleep quality despite a fantastic vibe! Limited menu options during off-peak times also disappointed.

The central location served as a perfect base for exploring the area, and the nearby free car park was very convenient for my travels. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with a good selection of drinks available. The staff was also very pleasant, enhancing the overall experience.
The layout of the hotel had some quirks that might be challenging for those not used to narrow hallways.

The bar area impresses with its cozy log fire, creating a warm atmosphere for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast options include a good scrambled egg with mushrooms and tomatoes that hit the spot.
Staying above the lively pub presented challenges with excessive noise from a band playing well past midnight, making it tough to get any decent sleep. The heating in the room struggled to keep up on a colder night, leaving it uncomfortably warm while unable to open the windows due to noise concerns.

Super cozy stay with awesome vibes
I had a fab night here! The staff were super friendly, and the bar had a nice, relaxed feel. My room was cozy and comfy, perfect for a family getaway. The full English breakfast was a real treat! Just a tad noisy outside at times, which made it harder to drift off.

I stayed in the Double Room for a night. The bed was super comfy, and I loved the spacious, clean vibe. Shower was a highlight—strong and hot! Not to mention, there were nice little touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits waiting for us. Definitely felt like a cozy spot. Only downside was the quirky layout with narrow hallways, which could be a bit tricky if you're not used to it.
